Hawley Energy celebrated it's 10th Anniversary in 2025 and was looking for a brokerage partner to work with. As we weren't able to find one - we decided to setup our own, specifically to support organisations in Calderdale as they respond to the Climate Emergency that was declared by Calderdale Council.
Energy Brokers claim to work on your behalf and find you the best rates for gas, water and electricity. We've built an experienced team to support our mission but rather than keeping commisions that a broker would normally retain, we pass on 0.5p for every kWh of electricity that is used by one of our customers to a central fund that provides 100% grants for their energy efficiency projects.

As part of our 10th Anniversary Celebration, we wanted to do something for Calderdale and create a self -sustaining fund to help organsations in our region.
Calderdale Council declared a climate emergency and this is our way of directly driving change at source.
That’s our USP!
We aim to keep it simple and remove the cloak of secrecy around energy brokerage.
With us, you simply cannot loose!
We want to provide a service that has no down sides and we think that we've achieved exactly that. We're changing energy use into energy action, reducing core costs and creating a fund that can drive change into Calderdale organisations.
